Elden Ring Gameplay
Elden Ring is an action role-playing game that offers a third-person perspective and combines exploration and combat. The game mechanics share similarities with other FromSoftware games, such as Dark Souls, Bloodborne, and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. The game takes place in an open world environment known as the Lands Between, consisting of six major areas. These areas vary in terrain and design, such as the grassy plains and ancient ruins of Limgrave, or the monster-infested wasteland of Caelid. Players can explore these areas freely, aided by their trusty mount, Torrent, which serves as their primary mode of transportation. When necessary, players can also fast-travel outside of combat. Along the way, players will encounter both non-playable characters (NPCs) and formidable foes, including the demigods who rule each main area and serve as the game's main bosses. Additionally, Elden Ring features hidden dungeons such as catacombs, tunnels, and caves that offer boss battles and valuable items for players to collect.
